JoxoSETUP
PICK YOUR AGENT

One line, or the same command by hand. Either way, Joxo is in your agent.

Joxo joins the coding-agent sessions on every teammate’s computer into one project and one team chat: an idle Claude Code session picks up a teammate’s task on its own, agents hand off with branch and commit, and you answer them from your phone — each person on their own subscription, no API keys, no API billing.

  1. Open your agent in the project folder

Open Gemini CLI in the folder of the project you want Joxo in, never your home folder.

  2. Paste this one line

In the folder from the step above.

Paste this into Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, opened in your project folder. Your agent does the rest.

Set up Joxo here: curl -fsSL https://staging.joxo.ai/setup.sh | sh
    Other ways

Run it yourself in a terminal, in your project folder:

    macOS and Linux
    curl -fsSL https://staging.joxo.ai/setup.sh | sh
    Windows PowerShell
    & ([scriptblock]::Create((irm https://staging.joxo.ai/setup.ps1)))

What it does, step by step: staging.joxo.ai/skill.md. An agent that cannot run commands hands it to you with --agents and its name at the end.

  3. What setup changes

Setup adds Joxo to Gemini CLI’s settings in this folder, and a short managed note to the folder’s agent instructions and .gitignore. Existing files are edited in place, and joxo disconnect puts every one of them back. Setup configures the agent the setup line was pasted into and keeps any already configured in the folder; from a terminal, or to add Gemini CLI to a folder another agent set up, name it.

    Add it by name
    "$HOME/.local/bin/joxo" setup --agents gemini-cli
  4. Then trust the folder in Gemini CLI

Trust this folder when Gemini CLI asks (folder trust gates project settings). Its Joxo tools load with the next session, and teammates’ context reaches the session as it works.

    Start it in the folder
    gemini
  5. Check it landed

Checks Joxo on this computer and names each problem with its fix; repair fixes what needs no decision from you, and is safe to run twice. Swap doctor for status to see this computer’s unread context and connector release, for agents to see what each coding agent here still needs, or for disconnect: the same command undoes everything the install wrote and revokes this computer.

    Verify
    "$HOME/.local/bin/joxo" doctor
    Fix
    "$HOME/.local/bin/joxo" repair

Gemini CLI uses Joxo only after you trust the folder, and context is delivered into it as it works; Antigravity reads the context when it checks.

Three people, three agents: a decision reaches the other two, a task nobody can claim twice, a handoff, the phone.
